Visual Ideas

Just Colour from Jesper Kirkeby Brevik on Vimeo.

Though this is a visual representation of a music piece, the concept is one I'd like to explore.  What I'd like to develop are visuals relevant to the bridge and the data.

What would a Bridge Dream About?
 Travel

Movement

When using a bridge we have a destination in mind.  A bridge is rarely the end destination.  Perhaps a bridge would dream of being the attraction, like London Bridge, but what if the dream is to pick up the journey and follow it's many users to a destination?

The visuals could replicate a constant movement, similar to traffic moving through an environment.

What does a bridge know about its users?

Objects move in two directions, forwards and backwards.
They can turn left or right
Objects can go fast or slow
They have various weights and sizes
There are various concentrations of these objects depending on the time

Chemical Brothers - Star Guitar from Rinat Crone on Vimeo.

What does a bridge understand about it's environment?

There is light and dark
There are elements like water, wind, snow
There is temperature, hot and cold

Channel 5 Idents, 2011
What I find interesting about the channel 5 idents at present is the erratic nature of the graphics.  The graphics work well within the space provided.  There appears to be a cause then effect, making the visuals more interesting and watchable.
